100kva generator manufacturers

When sourcing a 100kva generator, you must prioritize the engine brand (e.g., Cummins, Perkins, or high-quality Chinese brands like Yuchai) and the alternator type (brushless is preferred). Ensure the unit provides a prime power of 80kW/100kVA and a standby power of 88kW/110kVA. Key components should include a Deepsea or ComAp digital controller for precise monitoring and an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for seamless power transition during outages.

To ensure safety and legal entry into your market, the generator must hold ISO 9001 certification for manufacturing quality. For the European market, CE marking and Stage III/V emission standards are critical. For the US market, EPA certification is required. Additionally, ensure the unit meets IEC 60034 standards for rotating electrical machines and has a soundproof canopy that complies with local noise pollution regulations (typically <75dB at 7 meters).

A robust 50°C radiator is essential for tropical climates to prevent overheating. The fuel tank should have a capacity for at least 8-12 hours of continuous operation at 75% load. Look for suppliers offering double-walled fuel tanks to prevent leakage and water-separator fuel filters to protect the engine from low-quality fuel impurities.

A 100kva unit is a versatile 'workhorse' ideal for small to medium-sized factories, construction sites, telecommunication base stations, and commercial buildings like supermarkets or clinics. It is also highly effective as a backup power source for data centers or as primary power for remote mining camps where grid access is unavailable.

Always request the Engine Serial Number (ESN) before shipment and verify it through the manufacturer's official portal. Conduct a load bank test (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, and 110% load) via a third-party inspector like SGS or Intertek at the factory. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who provide comprehensive factory inspection reports.

Due to the weight (approx. 1500kg - 2000kg), use FOB or CIF terms and ensure the unit is shipped in a 20ft container or via LCL with a reinforced wooden crate. Ensure the supplier applies anti-rust oil to the engine and uses vacuum packaging or moisture-proof plastic wrapping to prevent sea salt corrosion during transit.

Negotiate a warranty period of at least 12 months or 1000 running hours. Demand a 'wearing parts kit' (filters, belts, fuses) to be included in the initial purchase. Ensure the supplier can provide technical support via video call and has a clear protocol for shipping replacement parts via international express (DHL/FedEx) to minimize downtime.

Utilize Secured Trading services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure payments are only released upon confirmation of shipment. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; always use the company's official corporate account as verified on the platform.
