15 kva 3 phase generator manufacturers

Selecting the core components is critical for longevity. For the engine, prioritize reputable brands like Cummins, Perkins, or high-quality Chinese alternatives like Yangdong, ensuring they have a global service network. For the alternator, ensure it is 100% copper wire brushless type (e.g., Stamford or Leroy Somer technology) to provide stable voltage and prevent overheating. A Class H insulation rating is recommended for high-temperature environments.

Buyers must confirm the Prime Power vs. Standby Power ratings; a 15 Kva generator should ideally run at 80% load for continuous operation. Check for a Digital Control Panel (e.g., Deep Sea or SmartGen) that monitors oil pressure, water temperature, and battery status. Additionally, ensure the unit includes an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) if the application requires seamless power transition during outages.

The generator must carry the CE Mark for European markets or EPA certification for the US. Ensure the manufacturer complies with ISO 8528 (Reciprocating internal combustion engine driven alternating current generating sets). For noise-sensitive areas, verify the Soundproof Canopy meets a noise level of ≤70-75 dB at 7 meters.

Request the fuel consumption chart (usually measured in Liters/Hour at 50%, 75%, and 100% load). A high-efficiency 15 Kva unit should feature a water-cooled system with a tropical radiator to prevent derating in ambient temperatures above 40°C. Check the fuel tank capacity; a base tank providing 8-12 hours of continuous run time is standard for B2B requirements.

The biggest risks are shipping damage and voltage mismatch. Ensure the supplier confirms the specific Frequency (50Hz or 60Hz) and Voltage (e.g., 380V/400V/415V) of your destination country. Insist on Seaworthy Packaging, including a plastic moisture barrier and reinforced wooden crates or iron frames to prevent corrosion and structural impact during transit.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts kits (filters, belts, gaskets) to be included in the initial order, which reduces future maintenance costs. Ask for a Video Factory Audit or a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) by third parties like SGS to verify the load bank test results before final payment.

Utilize Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until shipping documents are uploaded. For shipping, FOB (Free On Board) is often preferred for experienced buyers to control freight costs, but CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) is safer for novices as it includes marine insurance, which is vital for heavy high-value electrical goods.
